The Guilford Keeping Society's 2022 ornament depicts the Soldiers' Monument, located at the center of the Guilford Green. The monument was erected in 1877 after the Civil War and dedicated ten years later. The base was quarried from local pink granite and the soldier was carved of gray granite from Quincy, Massachusetts.
